Shooting Coverage

What I learned about filming coverage is that it can be more difficult than it seems. During my experience of filming coverage we had to change settings about 4 to 5 times due to heat, distance from the classroom, noise, and echos. What was also difficult about it is while your filming in a specific are you sometimes get the occasional yelling in the background while you’re shooting. Not everything was in our groups control, so we had to have a longer take of a certain shot. The good thing about shooting coverage is that if you messed up you could start again and keep rolling. The editing portion is easier than shooting it, in my opinion. Overall, shooting coverage was a good learning experience.
